Hannah's gift to Mommy and Daddy

One day when Aaron picked Hannah up from school she had a wrapped present in her bag labeled To: Mommy and Daddy, From: Hannah. We were very excited to open it on Christmas morning.

We hung it on the tree immediately. Hannah loved our reaction to her present and helping us pick the perfect place to put it on the tree. I look forward to putting this beautiful ornament on the tree for many years to come.
Hannah got two puzzles from Mommy and Daddy. The first one is a fish puzzle. It as a fishing pole with it so you can fish for the puzzle pieces.

The second puzzle is a 24 piece farm animal puzzle. We put it together three times in the first hour. Here is a video of her finishing the farm puzzle.

Titus's new play mat

Aunt Alica, Uncle Jesse, Cousin Caleb got Titus a wonderful play mat. One the first day, he spent atleast 3 hours playing with it. This will difinately be a gift that we be used daily for a long time.
Titus was mezmerized with the giraffe. We spent a long time looking at him and talking to him.

Hannah also enjoyed the play mat and would crawl underneath when Titus was sleeping.

Hannah's Sit n' Spin

Santa's big present to Hannah was a Sit n' Spin. She LOVES it. The video is her second time on it. She was still trying to figure out exactly how it works. You can also hear the music it makes in the background. You push the big button on top to turn the music on.

We also found that the sit n' spin made a wonderful chair.

A conversation with Titus

The night before Christmas Titus was very talkative with Aaron and I. We were able to get a little bit of the conversation on video. Enjoy!

Hannah's new dress from Aunt Annie and Uncle Steve

One of the first presents Hannah picked from underneath the tree was a package from Annie and Steve. She loved the dress. We had to put it on immediately before opening another present.

Thanks Annie, Steve, Alex, Eli, and Baby #3! We love our new beautiful dress and tights.

Playing House

Hannah got a beautiful doll house from Grammy and PapPap McQuaid. She has had hours of fun playing with it and moving the Mommy and Daddy dolls from room to room. Hannah also got a couple kid Tupperware sets from Grandma and Grandpa Catron via Santa. She was super excited about the cake carrier and plates until she realized the cake didn't come with the carrier. She still loves them and plays with them though. She has poured all of us many drinks from her pitcher.

Hannah got a play-doh ice cream maker from Santa. It makes ice cream cones and sundaes. It also has a special button to push that makes sprinkles.

One of two videos. The first is Hannah making an ice cream cone.

The second video is Hannah showing me her ice cream sundae.

At the very end where the video cut off, I did tell her "NOOOOO" and then we discussed how this was pretend ice cream and we could not eat it.

Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning, everyone was very happy. Here are a few pictures and video of the first moments of Christmas morning. I'm going to do multiple posts showing Hannah and Titus playing with all of their toys. I'll have them posted throughout today and the rest of the week, so keep checking back for new things.
Our Christmas Tree after Santa's visit

Hannah's first reaction to all the presents under the tree

Twas the night before Christmas

And all through the house, this creature was not stirring.

But this one was. Hannah had a wonderful time getting ready for Santa. We made cookies and chocolate milk for Santa, we put reindeer food outside for Rudolph, and we put on our special Christmas pajamas.

We were very excited for Santa and Christmas. We especially wanted to wait up to see the reindeer.
(p.s. her pjs say " I'm Santa's best gift)

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas to all of our family and friends. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday. We miss you all and wish we could be there celebrating with you.

God Bless,

Where's Titus?

On the opening day of Pennsylvania deer hunting season, Aaron got Titus all dress up. We sent Pap Pap McQuaid a picture telling him that Titus was ready. (note: In all actuality, Titus not legally dressed because he does not have the required 250 square inches of orange. But, he's still adorable)He was very sad when he found out that he wasn't quite old enough to hunt or had the fine motor skills to aim a rifle.

Our Christmas Tree

For the first time Aaron and I put up a Christmas tree. When we were traveling for the holidays we never saw the point in decorating a big tree. I always had my little one up, but decorations were scarce.

This year, I am embracing Christmas completely. We have a beautiful tree that Aaron found in our woods. We decorated it this weekend. Hannah and I have also been making Christmas decoration for around the house.

Hannah has also been learning about Christmas at school. She is very excited about Santa coming and the Christmas tree. She now loves to take inventory of all the ornaments pointing each one out and telling us what it is.

Airplanes go Vroom Vroom

Hannah got a little airplane at school. If you look closely you can see Santa is the pilot. Hannah has had so much fun flying this plane around the house. I got a quick video of her flying her plane.
