Hannah helps in the Kitchen
We love Push Pops
Last weekend Hannah got to try her first push pop. After a few hours outside in the hot sun, Aaron and Hannah needed some fluid replenishment. So Aaron split a grape push pop with Hannah. It took her a little bit to catch on how to push the Popsicle to the top, but we caught on pretty fast. Below are a couple pictures and a video of Hannah enjoying hers.

Another Great Craigslist Find
Last week Aaron and I sat down a made a list of everything we would like to start looking for in the next few months for the house.
1. A new big girl bed for Hannah. We want to move her into a twin size bed and retire the crib.
2. A nice wooden dresser that can be painted and placed in the nursery for Titus's clothes.
While looking periodically on Craigslist, i was discouraged when people were wanting $50 for a single dresser (chest of drawers), $30-50 for a dinky twin bed frame, and $75-100 for a used (by college students many years) twin mattress with box spring.
Then i found my deal. A twin bed frame (wooden head board and base board with rails), a gently used mattress and box spring, a sturdy wooden dresser, and two wooden night stands for only $70.
I emailed the couple immediately and they responded that the set was still available and that we could come look at it any time. Sunday after church we all hopped into the car for an hour drive up to Live Oak to buy Hannah her first big girl bedroom set.

Everything is in great condition. We are planning on stripping and painting the dresser, bed frame, and night stands. We will be sure to post more as the transformation occurs.
(The mattress is in the top left corner and the bed frame is between the mattress and the box spring)

Craigslist find of the month!!
I was so excited when i came across a great buy on baby boy clothes for Titus. I have been regularly searching Craigslist for clothes and furniture that we want to acquire in the next few months. I came across a woman who was selling baby clothes newborn to 12/18 month. After many email and an exchange in the Sam's club parking lot, i was delighted to see how much stuff i got. She gave me a great deal for buying it all (which i got even lower. Hey, i only carry so much cash on me). Here are some pictures of all the great item I got. They are all in great condition (no/minor stains or worn spots). I can't wait to see little Titus in all of his new clothes. And I love the thought of not having to buy any clothes for the first 12-18 months of his life (okay, I'm sure i will still have to buy a few can't-pass-up cute outfits, but still).
Here are the three bags them came in.
This is everything clean and organized in the guest bedroom. Most of the piles are atleast 6-10 inches high. I counted a total of 300 pieces (only 9 of which are not outfits. 1 blanket, 3 hats, 3 bibs, 2 pairs of socks)
I just got an email from the same lady saying that she found tons more clothes from her two boys that are for sale. I cant imagine needing much more to dress only one child.

Life as an artist and model is hard
Last week my (Sally's) grandfather celebrated his 80th birthday. Hannah wanted to make a card for Papa Del , but it wasn't as easy as she planned. Here are some pictures of the coloring and modeling process.
